Module 2 - Essential Electrics/Safe Isolation

This course is designed to cover safe isolation, types of instrumentation, essential understanding of the regulations, supply systems, control and protection equipment, earthing and bonding requirements, terminating and installation practices and electrical safety.

Module 3 - Pipework & Brazing

Small Commercial (1/4” to 7/8”)

Practically orientated course including theoretical elements for safe and competent refrigeration brazing techniques covering a range of refrigerant line diameters, brazing materials/techniques to attain leak-proof joints. The Commercial Scheme covers pipework up to 7/8”.

Module 4 - Installation, Commissioning & Service Engineering

This course covers all aspects of the installation, commissioning and servicing of all types of air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure correct, energy efficient running of systems. Practical aspects include, pipework design and jointing, pressure testing and leak testing of systems, evacuation & dehydration, charging, recovery, servicing, fault diagnosis and commissioning of air conditioning & refrigeration systems.

MODULE 5 - F-Gas

This course is a legal requirement for any persons directly or indirectly connected with refrigerants. The course covers all types of refrigerants, the ozone layer and other environmental issues, health, safety, regulations and codes of practice, recovery, pressure leak testing, evacuation, charging and commissioning. Meets the requirements for mandatory training under the F-Gas Regulations 2014.
