Course Content
New Training Courses have been introduced to meet the legal requirement of EC Regulation 517/2014 (commonly known as the F-Gas Regulation).
The scheme is designed for operatives who install, service and repair refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems, and require the following skills:
▪ Safe handling of refrigerant techniques
▪ Pipework and jointing skills
▪ Recovery of refrigerants
▪ Intrusive and Non-Intrusive Leak and performance checking of systems
A comprehensive F-Gas Manual will be provided.
Pipework & Brazing will form part of the F-Gas Assessment, and delegates who have little or no experience of oxyacetylene brazing should attend a Pipework & Brazing Course prior to being assessed under the new F-Gas Scheme
