The Quantum ColdRoom Calculation Software is the result of many years of development work. A number of key elements of our Quantum Professional Plus Software, such as Psychrometric Calculations (CIBSE-based) in respect of the Properties of Dry Air and Water Vapour are included in the calculation processes to ensure accurate results.

The software provides the User with 2 fundamental Options for Load Calculation:

• Rapid Calculation

• Custom Calculation

This facility allows the User to enter the minimum amount of data in only four Fields. The Calculation procedure functions in the same way as the full Custom Calculation method, but utilises a large number of Preset Default Values.

The values cannot be accessed or changed.

The resulting Total Load is analysed in the form of a load breakdown on the same screen.

This Option allows the User to precisely define every aspect of the ColdRoom for precise Load Calculation.

The Room Definition Screen allows the User to define:

Room Shape & Size (8 Preset Room Shapes)
ColdRoom Construction Materials / Thickness
User Definable K Values
Ambient Temperature against each surface

Ambient Percentage Saturation, ColdRoom Temperature, Usage Rate, Product Load (kg/day), Product Entry / Final Temperature, Cooling Time, Product Family (Meat, Veg, etc.), Product – Large Listing, Product Thermal Properties, Respiration Load (W/kg), Occupancy, Lighting, Packaging, Fork Lifts, Equipment Run Time, Safety Margin.

Project Files
Projects can be saved to hard disk for retrieval, archiving and printing.
Help Manual
A comprehensive User Manual (Word.doc format) is automatically placed on the hard disk during the installation to allow the User to read or print the Manual for future reference.
