Fri3Oil Hire

With the Phase-out of virgin R22 now upon us, many systems will require retrofitting with a more environmentally Friendly alternative. Cleanliness of the system is of the utmost importance. Therefore all systems need to be flushed and cleaned to a high level to ensure that all contaminates and oil are removed prior to carrying out strength and pressure testing and evacuation of the system in accordance with BSEN 378. This is where the Fri3Oil system is invaluable, as the best, user friendly, efficient means of achieving the high level of system cleanliness to ensure smooth retrofitting of systems as well as prolonging the life of any refrigeration/air conditioning system.

Case Study No. 1

Business Edge carried out the cleaning of two 600kW R134a Chillers at a World Famous Museum in the centre of London. Both Chillers had suffered severe failure resulting in acid contamination. The Fri3oil system flushed the systems pipework and removed 16 litres of oil from each circuit, leaving the system free of contaminants, thereby enabling the successful recommissioning of the systems.

Case Study No. 2

The Fri3Oil machine was used to facilitate the speedy recovery of refrigerant and flushing of the systems pipework, at a well known cooking oil manufacturer, to minimise their loss of production and downtime when carrying out a complete rework of their refrigeration equipment.

Case Study No. 3

A client required the existing pipework within their building to be re-utilised due to the major expense and disruption that would be caused by its removal. The Fri3Oil systems was successful in cleaning both sets of pipework in situ to enable the client to complete his project with the minimum of disruption to the fabric of the building.

Note

Most modern refrigerant recovery machines rely on the oil entrained within the refrigerant they recover to provide adequate lubrication. The Fri3Oil system can happily transfer large quantities (> 100kg/hr) of “virgin” (oil free) refrigerant without any difficulty .

The above prices include the hire of the Fri3Oil machine, an experienced Engineer to carry out the flushing, the Refrigerant required (up to 250 kg), hire of recovery cylinders and removal/safe disposal from site of the contaminants (oil, acid, liquid water, etc). The original refrigerant from within the system will normally be left in a sufficiently clean and recycled condition rendering it suitable for reuse, thus avoiding destruction charges.
