Business Edge Ltd is already Registered with REFCOM (reg number 1001001). If your company falls within the scope of the Regulations, you must attain company certification by 4th July 2009.

Company Certification is a legal requirement under Sections 23 and 24 of the  Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases (FGG) Regulations 2009 for businesses that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump equipment containing F gases. It is a requirement that companies obtain a Certificate by July 4 this year.

There are now 2 options availible to companies wishing to register :

• REFCOM
• QUIDOS

Business Edge Ltd is currently Certifying Candidates to F-Gas Standards (Catergories 1,2,3,4)  CITB Levels J11,J12,J13,J14 in its 3 Training Centres at Portsmouth, Milton Keynes and Tiverton.

There are two routes to attaining Company Certification:

• An Interim Certificate, requires ConstructionSkills J01 (refrigerant safe handling) or C&G 2078. This Interim Certificate is valid until 4th June 2011.
• A Full Certificate, requires ConstructionSkills J11, J12, J13, J14 (F-Gas) or C&G 2079. This Full Certificate is valid for 3 years.
